Think your skincare routine is working against you? It might be. Sensitive skin doesn’t just react to products — it reacts to habits too. Here are 5 everyday things you might be doing that make your skin say “Ouch!”

1. Washing with hot water

Hot water strips the skin’s natural oils and makes irritation worse. Stick to lukewarm water instead — especially when cleansing your face or bathing.

2. Using harsh soaps and scrubs

Bar soaps, exfoliating brushes, and gritty scrubs may feel “clean,” but they often do more harm than good. Choose creamy, non-foaming cleansers (like our Cream Cleanser) that clean without stripping.

3. Skipping moisturizer

Even oily skin needs moisture! When your skin is dry, it’s more likely to get inflamed or itchy. Use a gentle moisturizer right after cleansing to lock in hydration.
