- 1½ lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
- ¼ cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
- 3 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- fresh thyme sprigs
- wooden skewers (soaked in water if grilling)
Instructions
- Make the marinade:In a bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, zest, garlic, onion, paprika, soy sauce, and olive oil.
- Marinate the chicken:Toss chicken in marinade; refrigerate for 1 hour (overnight for best flavor).
- Skewer:Thread chicken onto skewers with thyme sprigs tucked between pieces.
- Serve:Grill or broil for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and lightly charred.
- Serve:Serve hot with lemon wedges.
