Honey and Almond Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients, ensuring that the almonds are roughly chopped. Line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) square baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped almonds, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside.
  • Warm Nut Butter and Honey: In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, gently warm the almond butter and Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey until they are easy to mix. This makes them easier to incorporate into the dry ingredients.

Honey-Roasted Chickpeas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp cumin ground
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper ground
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey, olive oil, ground cinnamon, ground cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt. Stir well to form a smooth mixture.
  • Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas to the bowl with the honey and spice mixture. Toss until all the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  • Spread the chickpeas out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are evenly spaced to allow for even roasting.
