Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips for added texture and flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, honey, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the bread tender.
  • If desired, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing
