Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, honey, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the bread tender.
If desired, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips into the batter.
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the pan from the oven and let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing
