Honey Soy Sauce Salmon Recipe

This honey soy sauce salmon recipe is a quick and easy way to prepare a delicious and healthy meal. The salmon fillets are coated in a flavorful mixture of our raw honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, then baked in the oven until they are tender and flaky. The dish is garnished with chopped scallions and can be served with rice and vegetables for a complete and satisfying meal. With a prep time of just 10 minutes and a cook time of around 15 minutes, this recipe is perfect for a busy weeknight dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • ¼ cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp ground paprika
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • salt & black pepper
  • chopped scallion optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Season with salt, pepper, ground paprika, basil, and thyme.
  • Pour the honey soy sauce mixture over the salmon fillets, making sure they are fully coated.
  • Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped scallions if desired.
