Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
  • ¼ cup Cairo Apiaries Molasses
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together ketchup, honey, molasses, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer the sauce for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it has thickened and the flavors have melded together.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature.
  • Once the sauce has cooled, transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
