Ingredients

  • 1 ripe plantain (mashed)
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Cairo Apiaries Honey
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Combine wet ingredients:
    In a bowl, combine mashed plantain, egg, milk, and honey.
  • Add dry ingredients:
    Add flour, baking powder, and salt; whisk to form a batter.
  • Fry batter:
    Fry spoonfuls on a lightly greased pan until golden.
  • Drizzle with honey:
    Mix lime juice with a bit of Cairo Apiaries Honey and drizzle over pancakes.
