Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh Carrots peeled and trimmed
  • 2 tbsp Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • ½ Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ Cayenne Pepper adjust to taste for spice level
  • Fresh Cilantro or Parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare Carrots:
    Wash, peel, and trim the carrots. Cut them into even-sized pieces, about 2 inches in length.
  • Prepare Glaze:
    In a small bowl, combine Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey, olive oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, ground cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to create a smooth glaze.
  • Coat Carrots:
    Place the carrot pieces in a large mixing bowl. Pour the honey-spice glaze over the carrots and toss until they are evenly coated.
  • Roast Carrots:
    Spread the glazed carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the carrots are tender and caramelized, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
  • Serve:
    Once roasted, transfer the carrots to a serving dish. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro or parsley for a burst of freshness.
