Instructions
Season the Oxtail
Coat oxtail with salt, pepper, browning, pimento, and garlic.
Brown the Meat
Heat oil in a pot and sear oxtail pieces on all sides.
Add Aromatics
Add onion, thyme, and carrots; sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Add Liquids
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and broth, scraping the bottom of the pot.
Slow Braise
Cover and simmer for
2–3 hours
until the meat is tender and sauce thickens.
Finish and Serve
Adjust salt and serve warm with rice or mashed potatoes.
