Ingredients
- 3 pounds oxtail, cleaned
- ¼ cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
- 2 tablespoons browning
- 2 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 2 teaspoons pimento
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
Instructions
- Season the OxtailCoat oxtail with salt, pepper, browning, pimento, and garlic.
- Brown the MeatHeat oil in a pot and sear oxtail pieces on all sides.
- Add AromaticsAdd onion, thyme, and carrots; sauté for 2–3 minutes.
- Add LiquidsStir in honey, soy sauce, and broth, scraping the bottom of the pot.
- Slow BraiseCover and simmer for 2–3 hours until the meat is tender and sauce thickens.
