Honey-Glazed Christmas Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked ham (5-6 lbs)
  • ½ cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon ginger (ground)
  • ½ teaspoon cloves (ground)
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
    Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Prepare the Glaze
    In a small saucepan, combine honey, mustard, ginger, cloves, brown sugar, vinegar, and pepper; simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Score the Ham
    Lightly score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern to help the glaze soak in.
  • Apply First Coat of Glaze
    Brush half of the warm glaze over the ham.
  • Bake the Ham
    Place on a baking tray and bake for 45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
  • Finish with More Glaze
    Brush the remaining glaze on top, increase heat to 400°F (200°C), and roast for another 15–20 minutes until glossy and caramelized.
