Ingredients
- 1½ pounds ground beef or turkey
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For honey-garlic sauce:
- ⅓ cup Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Prepare the MeatballsMix beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion powder, garlic, salt, and pepper; roll into small balls.
- Bake the MeatballsPlace on a tray and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
- Make the SauceWhisk honey, soy, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch slurry in a saucepan.
- Simmer to ThickenCook on low for 3–4 minutes until glossy.
- Combine and CoatAdd baked meatballs to the sauce and toss to cover completely.
