Honey-Jerk Salmon

This dish brings together the bold heat of jerk seasoning and the natural sweetness of pure honey. It’s a quick, flavour-packed main that adds Caribbean flair to your holiday table.

Ingredients

  • pounds salmon fillet
  • 3 tablespoons Cairo Apiaries Honey
  • tablespoons jerk seasoning wet
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glaze
    Mix honey, jerk seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and salt.
  • Marinate the Salmon
    Place salmon on a lined tray and brush heavily with the mixture; let sit 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the Oven
    Heat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Bake the Salmon
    Bake for 12–15 minutes, until flaky and lightly caramelized.
  • Optional Broil
    Broil for 1–2 minutes for deeper colour.
