Honey Ginger Tea

Warm, soothing, and naturally healing — this tea combines the calming benefits of honey with the zing of fresh ginger. A wonderful remedy for tired days or scratchy throats.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2-inch piece of fresh ginger washed and crushed
  • 3 tablespoons Cairo Apiaries Raw Honey
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Bring water to a gentle boil.
  • Add ginger and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in honey (and lemon juice if using).
  • Strain into cups and serve warm.
